Alliance Française Vancouver (AFV) works to promote French culture and is one of Vancouver’s oldest non-profit organizations. Their new home is the first mass assembly occupancy structure over two storeys using exposed mass timber to be built in the City of Vancouver. Learn more about how the project team overcame challenges relating to code and zoning, and accommodated exposed mass timber throughout their design.
