About Woodco
Located in the community of Barriere, Woodco focuses on milling timbers, cants, and other wood products not easily found in conventional lumber supply outlets. With a small log scragg mill and a large log band mill, they can produce a wide range of custom rough-cut timber products for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Woodco is a family-owned business with deep roots in the B.C. forest industry. They provide excellent products at fair prices, serving the local community with specialty-cut lumber and supplying industrial markets with timber mats and bridge components.
The mill harvests and/or purchases 60,000 m³ of logs per year, generates 9 million fbm of timber and lumber products, and produces 2,000 units of various industrial components. Woodco has built its reputation on quality products, flexibility, specialty orders, and the value created through direct pricing and excellent customer service.
