Established in Kimberley, B.C., Tyee was founded to serve the Canadian and American Rocky Mountain resort areas, with convenient access to national, provincial, and state mountain parks such as Jasper, Banff, Waterton, Glacier, and Yellowstone. We design and build a variety of custom log and timber-frame structures, both residential and commercial, in diverse styles to suit each client’s vision.
Our team, led by second-generation builders with more than 50 years of combined experience, has been crafting unique structures since 2003. From project management to on-site construction, we bring deep expertise in both log and heavy timber construction.
Tyee specializes in the design-build of commercial and residential projects, producing 20 to 40 structures each year for a wide range of private and public clients. We work collaboratively with owners, architects, engineers, and other consultants to deliver each project successfully, ensuring a seamless process from concept to completion.
We are committed to building energy-efficient homes and have been a Built Green Canada member since 2008. All our homes are built to the performance path, balancing energy efficiency with construction cost. We continuously refine our log and timber detailing to enhance performance, longevity, and comfort.
