About Merit Kitchens
Merit Kitchens Cabinetry was founded in 1971 by fine craftspeople in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They provided Western Canada with high-quality semi-custom cabinets. Merit Kitchens has since grown into a world-class supplier of beautiful cabinetry, representing superior quality and extraordinary value.
Today, Merit cabinetry can be found in homes throughout Canada, the United States, and parts of Asia. We get to work with top designers and contractors throughout all areas.
The Siekmann family took on the operations of Merit Kitchens Cabinetry in October 2000. While maintaining the company’s tradition of fine cabinetry and superior standards, they also embraced modern styles, trends, and cabinet manufacturing innovations. Frank Siekmann, a third-generation cabinetry specialist, follows in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, both of whom were pioneers in the cabinet industry. Soon, Frank hopes his children (or at least one of them) want to do the same.
