About Fiscus Homes
In 1960, President and General Manager Jim Johnston began Fiscus Homes in North Vancouver. Over the years, Fiscus Homes has maintained close ties with the community, still operating out of North Vancouver while prefabricating home kits in Langley, British Columbia.
For years, Fiscus Homes prefabricated roof systems for warehouses, restaurants, townhouse developments, apartment buildings, and even pavilions for Expo ’86. Today, Fiscus specializes in building custom prefab homes and buildings.
The company has supplied and built over 500 designer homes in coastal areas of British Columbia, including the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver Island, and the Interior. Prefabricated homes have also been built in some of the most rural areas, including on difficult rocky outcroppings and on building lots accessible only by water.
Fiscus Homes specializes in prefabricated home packages. These homes are custom-designed by architects and home design professionals and are supplied to homeowners, builders, and developers in British Columbia and around the world.
Our custom prefab homes are built locally near Vancouver, B.C., and shipped globally. We have built homes in Vancouver’s Lower Mainland and throughout the province. Prefab home packages have also been exported to Washington State, California, the Eastern States, the Bahamas, and Japan.
All Fiscus prefab homes are manufactured near Vancouver using B.C. wood products, including spruce-pine-fir (SPF) lumber, kiln-dried Douglas-fir lumber, and Douglas-fir plywood. Fiscus Homes is committed to building prefabricated homes using the highest quality products.
Your home is prefabricated in our factory, where we build wall panels, roof trusses, cut rafters, stairs, and other components. These pre-framed parts allow for faster and more accurate construction than those built on-site. This process is carefully coordinated to ensure your home is ready when your foundation is complete. For many panelized homes, construction can occur in a matter of days, with the house taking full form in a couple of weeks, substantially reducing on-site labour costs.
