For over 45 years, Dürfeld Log & Timber has specialized in log and timber construction. The knowledge and experience represented in our craft are the key ingredients to cultivating meaningful relationships with our clients and project teams. We work closely with our clients, architects and engineers to understand the desired style they would like to achieve and maintain a large inventory of seasoned logs to ensure there aren’t any delays in the construction process.
Our meticulous attention to detail ensures that each log will be precisely cut and notched. We account for all other construction interfaces to ensure our logs and components fit and assemble seamlessly.
Through many years of working with the rare and beautiful trees that grow in British Columbia, we have developed a deep respect and appreciation for their beauty. Trees are unique; there are no two alike. From our initial selection of each tree, to the hand peeled finish that leaves them with a radiant glow, each of these incredible gifts are showcased in their unique form. We honour each tree through our craft and elevate the beauty of nature.
