As the broadcast centre for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, it was a showcase for the products and manufacturing capabilities of the British Columbia, Canada forest sector.
The use of innovative wood materials and construction combined with the forward-thinking design makes the Convention Centre one of the most unique structures in North America.
