The first mass timber hybrid timber residential high-rise building in North America

The University of British Columbia has been at the forefront of the revitalization of mass timber construction and the innovative use of engineered wood products at its academic and operational buildings. The newest addition to this portfolio is the first mass hybrid timber residential high-rise building in North America: the 18-storey, 54 metre tall Brock Commons Tallwood House.
