Introducing TWIG’s Sea to Sky Wood Network, the dynamic third chapter situated in Squamish. Our mission is to unite wood professionals residing and working in the Sea to Sky Corridor each month, fostering a vibrant exchange of knowledge, connections, and ideas. Squamish, with its rich wood-centric history and a thriving community of manufacturers, woodworkers, businesses, craftspeople, and artists, serves as the perfect backdrop for this endeavor.

Leading the charge is Lenny Rubenovitch of Rubenovitch Furnishings, a participant in our recent Shape program. Through insightful conversations with Lenny, a clear need emerged for a group that could harness the passion and talent within the community, promoting collaboration and unlocking innovative potential. This initiative aims to propel fresh developments and novel ideas within Squamish’s Value-Added wood sector.

The monthly events in Squamish will traverse various locations, from shop tours to brewery hangouts. These gatherings are designed to cultivate a culture of wood, providing a space where innovation can flourish through meaningful connections within the group. After a day’s work, participants can  dust off the sawdust, break free from the office routine, and establish new connections that not only enhance their business potential but also pave the way for future projects.

Meet on the date and location listed below from 6:00-8:00. After you join you can jump into the WhatsApp group to stay connected to the monthly updates and event locations.
